There is something so satisfying about iterating away flaws in your product and seeing it continually evolve. It ends up developing so much that you can’t even fathom how last month’s version was ever a real idea you had.
I don’t know how much the details really matter at the end of the day. Maybe sweating every detail isn’t worth it. But joy-sparking interactions and clearly well thought out engineering feels marvelous.
In modern day
Honestly, there aren’t many examples of absolute perfection that I come across often. But one that comes to mind is the animation design in the wallet by Family and its new parent Avara. Every single menu pops open with the smoothest transitions, with every single keyframe having its purpose.
